We will start our tour with a short walk along the Malecón (the famous seaside promenade, a Cubans meeting place) to the Hotel Nacional, from where we will go on an hour-long ride in an American old-timer. We will visit the area around the forts of El Morro, La Cabaña and the statue of the Christ of Havana, and then take a water tram across the Bay of Havana to the nearby Mercado de San José, where we will spend an hour buying souvenirs (the largest selection of local handicrafts in Havana). After shopping, we will have lunch at the local restaurant and go to a cocktails-making lesson at a friendly bar. From here, coco-taxis will take us through the Chinese Quarter and the poorer and more destroyed parts of Havana to the agreed end point of the tour.

the order of the itinerary may change depending on the agreed meeting place with the guide. In the event of a water tram failure, a bus or taxi will be used. For safety reasons, sharp and dangerous objects, as well as glass bottles, are not allowed on board the water tram
